How many tears will it take.......

“Perhaps our eyes need to be washed by our tears once in a while, so that we can see life with a clearer view again.” ― Alex Tan I love getting these little tidbits of wisdom and this one sounds good but honestly - how many tears will have to be shed before we see life clearer again? Every time I think mine have finally dried up, here they come again and not always for the same person. As I've mentioned before, I am a true believer that holding in grief and not expressing it through some down home, hard, gut wrenching crying every so often is detrimental to our health. On the flip side of that though comes the question - when is this train I've been on for too long going to stop and let me off? Seriously, you say good-bye to one and before the good-bye is out of your mouth, you are preparing to say good-bye to the next one and before that one is gone, you find out there is the next one and it hasn't let up yet. On top of your own feelings is having to watch your loved ones go through their losses. GG told me quite a few years ago that my problem is I know too many people. If it was only that simple. I have been blessed by having so many special people in my life and they all mean so much to me. I will never regret letting them into my life and heart - even if it means hurting when they are gone. The benefits and memories from time spent with them is well worth it. Hmmm - maybe I can see clearer now - what do you think? What is that saying - better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all? That can apply on so many levels. So -"I can see clearly now the rain has gone; I can see all obstacles in my way; Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind; It's going to be a bright, bright, sun-shining day."
