EI Adventure - Day One

Got up early and finished packing for my trip down East to be with Eileen, Gerl, and SheilaB. After BigD helped me pack the car I took my breakfast of Nutella on French Bread, a banana and a big cup of strong coffee with me for the trip. BigD told me a different way to go and it didn't work out well at all so I finally found a road I knew and got started. I am always happy to be off the major highways and once I get on 70East, I feel myself start relaxing. I decided to go to Mae's house first to visit with her and her beautiful daughter who have been working hard for almost 3 weeks on decluttering and having new carpet and kitchen floor laid. Everything looked great including them. Mae and I went to a late lunch at a restaurant BigD recommended and we both liked it. Mae got a little sad thinking about how much I.T. would have loved it too. After I dropped her off, I headed down to EI to Eileens beautiful beach retreat! The pictures just don't this wonderful little house justice but of course Eileen has always been a decorator. I can't put all the pictures of the house up but every one of them is gorgeous. She has taken this place and slowly turned into a doll house. We opened a bottle of Kendall Jackson and a bag of Kettle Corn Salt and Pepper Potato Chips and talked and laughed well into the night. Don't you love these wine glasses? Of course SheilaB should be a wine model with her pretty hands and nails! After I took a quick shower my bed was looking pretty good. I was able to go to sleep pretty quickly to which I can only give credit to the fact that I am now breathing Ocean Air! Whoo Hoo! We can't wait for SheilaB and Gerl to get here tomorrow for the fun to begin....as least as much fun as 4 old women can make!
