it was a very good day....

I love this picture of Roseanne and her oldest son Pat - always makes me smile when I look at it. I had a really nice day with Roseanne today - BigD cooked us a big "late" breakfast and then we got caught up on each other's lives for a bit. We finally settled down to have our Family Study which we both enjoyed after which we had my study with Shen over Skype! Poor Shen took a fall in her back yard and really hurt her back. We had plans to go out today but it was a little cold with a tiny bit of snow left on the ground. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it.) Hopefully we can make it happen next Thursday. One of the things we did was go back and look at some pictures of Lauren - she was in her friend's wedding and looked so pretty. They say a picture is worth a thousand words - it appears she had a really good time. The bride was pretty too but I don't know her so will just show pictures of the one I do know. Sing it!!!I was also telling Roseanne how much I love Lauren's hair being long again. It was fixed so nice for the wedding. We also love the color of her gown think it is tres' flattering. This picture gives a little idea of just how long her hair is now. One strong young woman she is. I also ran across a picture taken almost 5 years ago of me with Boy.What a little miracle he is. Every so often I look at his sweet little face and think of how his brother would have looked exactly like him and have to smile to myself. Roseanne reminded me of how many of our young ones will be starting Kindergarten this coming school year and Boy will be one of them!!! They do grow up so fast........

  5. They do grow so fast don't they? I remember reading that book to my son (guess how much I love you) and it seems like two minutes ago, yet it must be 3 or 4 years. Time just shoots by, we have to treasure these moments.
